The CARE peer educators have re-branded to reflect the new mission of the organization: advancing gender equity and confronting rape culture through educational advocacy, awareness-raising, and meaningful student engagement. They will foster collaborative relationships with campus leaders and administrative offices to create safer, trauma-informed spaces for survivors and allies, plan culturally-competent health communication campaigns and programs, and conduct peer-to-peer training surrounding consent and healthy relationships. They are the student outreach arm for OSAPR, serving as liaisons, interpreters, and translators between the office and the student body.
