Harvard Wears Denim 2015

April 29, 2015

The #HarvardWearsDenim campaign received incredible support from across the University. More than 3,000 individuals participated, with 55 student organizations and clubs pledging Solidarity Sponsorship. Hundreds of students, staff, and faculty joined us in their denim, finding community with one another and wearing their solidarity in support of survivors and allies.

The goals of the "Wear Your Solidarity" campaign were to re-imagine ally-ship and raise social consciousness surrounding sexual violence. Together, we were a visible demonstration against rape culture, acknowledging our role in creating safer spaces for survivors and holding ourselves and each other accountable in thought, word, and action. We hope that the dialogue does not end here.

We thank each and every person who is partnering with us to end violence and oppression of all forms. This campaign became a movement because of you. See all the fun in the photo booth and throughout the day
